Teacher Spotlight

Jennifer Goos

by Karissa Meyer

April 06, 2005

This week's teacher spotlight is Mrs. Goos.  Mrs. Goos is our business teacher here at Wakefield.  Mrs. Jennifer Goos was born on November 12, 19??, at the White Horse Museum in Stuart, Nebraska. Her best memory from school is her business classes.  She attended high school at Loup County High School and later went to college at Kearney and Wayne State and received a bachelor degree in Business Education, a master's degree in Business Ed, and a master's in Administration Specialist.  In all her ten years of teaching Mrs. Goos says that the best part of her job is the kids because they are great.  When asked if she could have any other job, Mrs. Goos said she has already had other jobs and she wouldn't pick any other one.

In her spare time, Mrs. Goos enjoys going to auctions.  The food that she enjoys the most is seafood, and if she could describe herself in three words they would be inquisitive, competitive, and creative.  If Mrs. Goos could be an inanimate object it would be a computer because then she could run and play software all day long.  As for aliens, Mrs. Goos says, yes, they do exist because she saw E.T.
