Teresa Soderberg

by Karissa Meyer

September 22, 2005

Who is the para educator that has been working here at Wakefield for eight years?  Teresa Soderberg would be that person.  Teresa was born on May 8, 1963 in Wakefield.  She attended high school here at Wakefield and says that her best memory was of talking with and giving a hard time to her principal, Mr. Joe Coble, and Mr. Torczon was fun, too.  Later she attended college at Wayne State for one year and was into Pre-nursing.  Mrs. Soderberg says that the best part of her job is that she loves all the kids; theyre all so different which is great!

In her free time, Teresa enjoys cleaning, decorating, and in the summertime watching her kids play baseball.  Even though Mrs. Soderberg loves her job, she says that if she could have a different job it would be to work with the Red Cross, Peace Corps, or as a social worker.  Energetic, caring and fun are the three words that would describe her best because she needs a lot of energy to keep up with her kids schedules.  If Teresa was stranded on a desert island and could only have one item, she says that she couldnt pick one, it would have to be three because she has three kids. As for aliens, Mrs. Soderberg says that they dont exist because this is Gods world and he doesnt create aliens.
