Meet Mr. Volk

New Industrial Technology Teacher

    There are many new additions to our high school faculty this year, among them is Mr. Volk, the new industrial technology teacher.

    Mr. Volk has been a teacher for three years. He graduated from Battle Creek High School. While in high school he enjoyed many sports, among them, football, wrestling, and track. He attended college at both Wayne and Chadron State.

    Mr. Volk's family consists of a wife and two wonderful children, a boy who is four and a little girl who is five and just started to attend kindergarten.

    His career has led him to teach in three different public schools, Lyons-Decatur, Newcastle, and Laurel-Concord. When asked if he was happy with what he was doing, he had one short simple answer, "Absolutely!"

    So make sure to stop by the technology lab to help make Mr. Volk's teaching experience at Wakefield as pleasant as possible.
