Spend Saturday mornings in the park

Wakefield is having a Farmer’s Market on Saturdays in September and October at Graves Park.from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Farmers and vendors from Wakefield and the surrounding areas are selling fresh fruit, vegetables, and other products. Vendors set up under a canopy for $5.00 per table. Proceeds will be donated to the new swimming pool fund. The Speech Team is also serving breakfast in the east shelter house for a free will donation. Volunteers who served last week were Pat Lunz, Molly and Charlie Curnyn, and Karen Kluth. The team and the volunteers would like to thank everyone who came and supported the speech team. Hope to see you at the park again this week to support the hard working farmers from our area.
