Applications for employment will be accepted at the Wakefield Community School Business Office located at 802 Highland Street. If no current openings are available, applications will be kept on file in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Current employment opportunity for the 2011-2012 school year includes:
1.) None at this time
APPLICATION PROCESS FOR CERTIFIED TEACHER
When applying for a position with the Wakefield Community School, an applicant must take the following steps to complete the process:
a. Submit a letter of application.
b. Submit completed Wakefield Community School Application form (Original Copy)
c. Submit credentials (Including three letters of reference)
d. Send transcripts of undergraduate and graduate coursework
e. Submit a complete resume
f. Background Check Authorization (Original Copy)
g. Agency Request for Information from the Nebraska Adult and Child Abuse and Neglect Register/Registry form (Original Copy)
h. Non-Discrimination and Verification (Original Copy)
All completed information must be mailed to:

Applications will be reviewed immediately.
4.) Substitute para-professionals to work with students (two-years of college education or equivalent required, or ability to receive certification required)
5.) Substitute teachers for grades Pre-School through 12.
