Mrs. Johnson's 2nd grade class did the play "Stone Soup" on April 8, 2009. We practiced hard to memorize our lines. Every day we practiced in our classroom to make the play work. Everybody had a part.
They were funny because of the characters' names. Osmar A. and Lorna Z. were the narrators. Cindy G. was Ida Know, Miguel I. was Frank Furter, Peyton P. was Artie Choke, Breanna C. was Vida Minn, Israel G. was Sal Lamie, Jessica B. was Ann Chovie, Antonio S. was Bill Lownie, Jeremiah C. was Brock Lee, Cassidy M. was Minnie Stronie, and Raymond G. was Rick Cotta. The play was about seven minutes long. Some of us got scared and frustrated because our parents came. Everyone laughed because there were funny parts. We got video taped and photographed by parents. We gave the play four times for other classes, teachers, and our families. We did the play for fun and it was the main reading thing for a week. We're glad we did it. Clearly, it was fun to do the play "Stone Soup."Mrs. Johnson's Class Presents "Stone Soup"
