Homecoming Week 2009 is now complete. Several activities occurred in both the high school and the elementary. The elementary had dress up days that included Western Day, Career Day, and Sports Day. In the High School, there was Halloween Day, Superhero Day, and DEAR Unity Day.
Both the elementary and high school participated in Maroon and White Day on Friday, and also "Class Color Day" on Tuesday. On Class Color Day, a photo was taken of the entire K-12 student body.
Coronation took place Thursday evening, with Queen Erika McNiel and King Andy Vazquez receiving the crowns. Other King and Queen candidates included Morgan Lunz, Jenna Henderson, Sydny Vander Veen, TJ Rose, Chad Clay, and Wyatt Jacobson.
There was a pep rally on Friday afternoon, which included each coach speaking about their sports, recognition for dress up days, and participation by the high school band. The finale consisted of several staff members doing their rendition of "The Evolution of Dance."
