Wakefield Students Top Lewis & Clark Art Show
Art Students bring home 10 Golds, 4 Silvers, & Best of Show!

On Saturday, February 27th Wakefield High School Art Students competed in the Lewis & Clark Art Show held in Bancroft. 10 students displayed 15 pieces of artwork in several different mediums. Art Students brought home 10 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and overall Best of Show. This year’s Best of Show was awarded to Kelvin Rivera for his scratch board artwork titled “Godzilla”. This was Kelvin’s second Best of Show as he took these honors with the same piece of artwork at last spring’s Little Red Hen Theatre Art Show. This was also the 5th consecutive year that a Wakefield Art Student has brought home Best of Show honors from the Lewis & Clark Art Show.
