News from the 6th Grade

There are 24 kids in the Kindergarten classes this year. We interviewed Mrs. Steinman and Mrs. Hansen, the two Kindergarten teachers. We asked, "How many years have you been teaching?" Mrs. Steinman has been teaching for 21 years and Mrs. Hansen, three years.
We also asked, "What inspired you to become a teacher?" Mrs. Steinman answered, "My fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Davrina. She loved art and was funny." Mrs. Hansen replied, "So I can make a difference in children's lives."
When asked if they were nervous about the beginning of the school year Steinman said, "Yes, all kids are different and you don't know if they are going to like school." Mrs. Hansen answered, "Yes, I have a new group of kids, so starting a new year for me and my students can make everyone nervous." That's all for the report on Kindergartners.
