Bucket Fillers

Wakefield Elementary School’s mission is to help every child reach their maximum potential. Children learn best when they feel they are valued and understand their teacher, other school staff and their classmates genuinely care for them. When we feel safe and valued, our buckets are filled. Children with full buckets are happier and are more actively engaged in their learning.
Wakefield Elementary School is dedicated to reinforcing student’s positive behaviors and pro-social skills. Teachers, school staff and students will be diligent in filling each other’s buckets this year. When someone wants to fill a bucket, they will complete a raindrop with their note and drop it into the buckets in a classroom or in the main office. Students and staff will be recognized during lunchtime each Friday.
Filling a bucket is easy to do and it doesn’t cost anything! We hope you enjoy seeing our weekly bucket-fillers.
