National Honor Society Selection Process

NHS Induction, Oct. 11

Wakefield National Honor Society recognizes juniors and seniors who achieve excellence in areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service.  A student must excel in all four areas.

To apply for National Honor Society each student must have:

·      At least a 90.5% cumulative GPA

·      Community service hours

·      2 letters of recommendations

·      250 word essay

·      At least 2 extra-curricular activities per year since 9th grade

·      Leadership positions

·      Work experience or recognition/awards

 

If the faculty for the NHS induction selects an applicant, they will be part of the tapping and induction ceremony on Wednesday, October 11th at 2:45 p.m.
