BB vs. Emerson: Boys-Jan. 29, Girls-Feb. 13; Speech Tournament, Feb. 13

The Boys and Girls Basketball home games vs. Emerson have been rescheduled to two separate nights. The boys will play against Emerson on Friday, Jan. 29, beginning with the JV at 6:15. The girls will play against Emerson on Saturday, Feb. 13, with a varsity-only contest, beginning at 7:00.
Also, the Conference Wrestling Tournament will be held in Wakefield on Monday, Feb. 1.
The girls basketball game vs. Homer on Jan. 25 will NOT be rescheduled.
Rescheduled boys junior high basketball games include: HOME game vs. Homer, Friday, Jan. 29, 3:00; AWAY game @ Winnebago, Monday, Feb. 1, 3:00.
JV Basketball vs. Ponca will be played on Friday, Feb. 5.
The Wakefield Speech Tournament, originally scheduled in January, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13.
In addition to these events, Wakefield will also host 2nd round action of the Girls Basketball Conference Tournament, on Tuesday, Feb. 2. These games will involve 4 teams from the conference, but will NOT include our own girls team, who will playing in a different location that evening. Depending on the outcome of Monday's boys games, Wakefield may also be hosting 2nd round of boys action on Feb. 4.
