Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Slocum’s science classes have had a great year so far. The 7th grade students have been busy working on a disease research project. They are looking forward to testing different surfaces around the school for bacteria. The 9th grade is currently studying plate tectonics by making several map activities. They will soon be learning how earth quakes and volcanoes are related to the movement of the plates. Chemistry class is beginning to study quantum numbers. They will soon be writing the electron configurations of each element on the periodic table. Anatomy class is currently studying nervous system. They are looking forward to dissecting at the end of the year.
