Biographical Information
I began my teaching career in Wakefield in the Spring of 1998 in Mrs. Kathy Johnson's 4th grade classroom. After completing my student teaching in the Spring of 1998, I was offered a job in Wakefield. I started off teaching all subjects, but Social Studies to both 5th and 6th grade students. Since that first year, I had taught only 6th grade until the 2010-11 school year. I am now teaching 4-6 Science and a section of sixth grade Reading. My duties also extend beyond the classroom as I am currently the Head Girls Basketball coach and assist with Jr. High Football. I am also a sponsor for the Elementary Student Council and for multiple years served as the Chairperson for the Modern Woodmen of America local and district oration contests.
