Wakefield Students help with Torndao Relief efforts

50 students pick up debris in fields

October 18, 2013

On October 17, most of the junior and senior classes at Wakefield High School travelled to Wayne to help with Tornado Relief efforts.  50 students and seven adults were sent to clean up the fields around the airport runways in Wayne.  Students spent two hours walking the grass areas and corn fields, picking up debris.  Afterwards, students were fed lunch at the Armory.
