2014 Homecoming King and Queen Candidates

Homecoming Activities Announced

Homecoming Week, Oct. 6-10

September 30, 2014

Homecoming Week for Wakefield High School is the week of October 6-10. 

Homecoming King and Queen Candidates were announced last week.  The queen candidates include Vibeke Birkeland, Taryn Hingst, McKenzie Rusk, and Stephanie Urbina.  The King candidates are made up of Tim Anderson, Raul Chavez, Alex Conley, and Levi Nelson.

On Monday, October 6, ("Sports Day") high school students will meet with groups of elementary students to plan for the Homecoming Pep Rally, followed by the decorationg of the hallways.

On Tuesday, October 7 ("Red Neck Day") Coronation will take place in the main gym at 3:00.  The volleyball team plays host to Ponca that evening.

Wednesday, October 8 is "Pajama Day."

Thursday, October 9, is "Class Color Day" and an all-school photo will be taken in the activity center gym at 8:30 a.m.  Volleyball plays at the WPCC Tournament that evening.

Friday, October 10, is "Maroon and White Day," with high school students playing games with elementary students in the morning, and games in the high school that afternoon.  The Pep Rally is at 3:00 in the main gym.  The football team plays host to Plainview that evening, followed by a dance for 9-12 students back at the high school.
