Applications for employment will be accepted at the Wakefield Community School Business Office located at 802 Highland Street. If no current openings are available, applications will be kept on file in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations.
Current employment opportunities include:
1.) Second Grade Teacher - Wakefield Community School is seeking qualified applicants for a second grade teaching position for the 2010-2011 school year. Candidates must have or be eligible for a Nebraska Teaching Certificate with the proper endorsement. Interested candidates need to send a Letter of Application, Resume, Credentials and Transcripts to Clayton Waddle, Superintendent, Wakefield Community School, 802 Highland Street, PO Box 330, Wakefield, Nebraska 68784.
2.) Substitute para-professionals to work with students (two-years of college education or equivalent required, or ability to receive certification required)
3.) Substitute teachers for grades Pre-School through 12.
