INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER

MEDIA SPECIALIST

DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION

 

Wakefield Community Schools has three full-time openings for the 2019-20 school year.   A valid Nebraska teacher's certificate with appropriate endorsement is required for the Industrial Technology Teacher and Media Specialist positions.  Teachers hired in endorsed areas will be given all years of experience as allowed on the salary schedule.  Director of Transportation will need a valid driver's license, CDL and mechanical experience.  We are looking for dynamic individuals desiring to join our team with coaching skills preferred but not required.  Collaborative staff, supportive community, significant technology support in each classroom, SMART-Board in every classroom.    Subject to veterans preference.   Positions will remain open until filled.  Send letter of interest, resume, credentials, and references to:

Application for Employment

 

Applications for employment will be accepted at the Wakefield Community School Business Office located at 802 Highland Street. If no current openings are available, applications will be kept on file in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations. 

Current employment opportunities for the 2018-2019 school year include:

1.) Substitute Teachers (Certificated position)

2.) Substitute Paraprofessionals (Classified position)

 

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR CLASSIFIED POSITION

       a.  Submit a completed Wakefield Community School Employment Application form (Original Copy).

       b.  Submit Background Check Authorization following the job interview (Original Copy)

       c.  Candidates with completed application will be considered for an interview.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS FOR CERTIFICATED TEACHER

When applying for a position with the Wakefield Community School, an applicant must take the following steps to complete the process:

a. Submit a letter of application.
b. Submit completed Wakefield Community School Teacher Application form (Original Copy)
c. Submit credentials (Including three letters of reference)
d. Send transcripts of undergraduate and graduate coursework
e. Submit a complete resume
f.  Background Check Authorization following job interview (Original Copy)
g. Non-Disrimintation and Verificiation (Original Copy)
