Tuesday, February 8, the Winnebago Indians found out how good the Lady Trojans are. Alissa Bressler,made18 points for the Trojans who lead the entire game. The final score was Trojans 65 Indians 24.
In the first quarter, Katie Jensen was point leader with 8. Alissa followed with six points, while Gina Dutcher and Shay Tullberg had two. Anna Brownell also made a foul shot, making the score Trojans 19 Indians 5 after the first.
For the second quarter, the score was Trojans 33 Indians 14. Scoring the points were Jensen, Shay, and Amanda Nelson with three. Alissa and Gina had two, and Anna made another foul shot.
Alissa and Jensen lead the girls at the start of the second half with four points each. Anna, Gina, and Amanda followed with two points. Nicki Greve helped out with a foul shot raising the lead to Trojans 48 Indians 19.
The fourth quarter was much of the same as Alissa lead with six points. Anna had three, while Jaimy Albrecht, Sara White, and Gina had two points. Jensen made another foul shot.
The girls played a wonderful game and won 65-24. Good job ladies and keep it up.
