A new face in the elementary is that of Mr. Patzel. Mr. Patzel was born July 14, 1976 in Fremont, Nebraska. He attended college in Hastings where he majored in Elementary Education and obtained a minor in Fitness. Mr. Patzel started out teaching in Hastings at a school called Alcott. He decided to become a principal after he worked with administrators and got interested in it. After he received his Masters Degree he had the credentials to become a principal. He sent resumes to different schools had interviews. Wakefield was the first to offer the job so he took it. Some things that Mr. Patzel likes to do in his spare time are reading books, mostly on exercise, and teaching, walking and spending time with his puppy Buster Brown, lifting weights, and just relaxing. Mr. Patzel's advice for the students of Wakefield is use your common sense, stay out of trouble, and make school as fun as you can.
