Coin War Against Cancer

Students raised over $800

The Wakefield FCCLA Chapter challenged the Elementary and High School students during Homecoming week to a Coin War.  The Coin War took place to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer.  Each grade had a jar in a teacher’s classroom to place coins in – pennies gave each class points and silver coins took points away.  At the end of Homecoming week the Wakefield School body raised . . .

Apply2College event for Seniors

52 College applications completed

Thirty-two seniors at Wakefield High School took a critical step in the college preparation process when they participated in a college application event Thursday, September 7, at the school.
