Practice ACT Test, for juniors, March 30

Juniors will be dismissed after test, with permission form signed

As you have probably heard, all high school juniors are required to take the ACT test this spring.  The ACT test now takes the place of all NeSA tests for juniors. Wakefield wins District Speech Contest

State qualifiers include 10 students, 5 different events

The Wakefield Speech Team are the District Champions!  All 14 speech students earned medals at Districts and 10 students will be going to the State Speech Contest in Kearney on March 24. UPDATED CALENDAR: Another Snow Make-up day, APRIL 17

Monday, April 17 will be a regular school day

In order to make up for student days that were missed due to weather, Wakefield Community School will have a regular school day (PK-12) on Monday, April 17, 2017. April 17 was originally scheduled as a no-school day, but will now be used for a make-up day. We have no school on Friday, April 14, but we WILL HAVE SCHOOL on Monday, April 17.

Junior high sports practices, time change REMINDER

Jr. High track practice dismiss at 4:00

One of the ways that we can support our high school athletic programs is to provide more support for our junior high programs.  As you know, our junior high programs hold practices during 8 th period.  On a regular school day, the bell rings at the end of 7 th period at 2:52.  Students change into their uniforms and usually get in to the gym between 2:55 and 3:00.  Practices (including stretching, warming up, etc.) . . .
