The Northeast Nebraska Public Health Department (NNPHD) will be conducting a walk-in Wakefield on May 25, 2021. Maria Gonzalez Receives UN-K Scholarship

Letter of Intent Signing Ceremony

Maria Gonzalez received the prestigious Diversity Service Scholarship from the University of Nebraska-Kearney! This scholarship is based on character, involvement in activities, and academic strength. Wakefield Students Participate in Epilepsy Awareness Week

During the week of March 22-29, Wakefield Elementary, Jr. High, and High School students participated in Epilepsy Awareness Week.  Students dressed up each day in outfits that varied from work out gear to superhero attire.  The week ended with students wearing purple on Friday, World Epilepsy Day.  Students also donated throughout the week.  Funds raised were given to the Nebraska Epilepsy Foundation.  Total . . .

Latino Youth Summit

15 Wakefield Juniors and Seniors Attend

The 2021 Latino Youth Summit hosted by Northeast Community College was a virtual event held the morning of Friday, March 26. Maya Saenz, news anchor for KMTV in Omaha, Nebraska gave the welcome and introduced speakers for the event.
