These students participated in the Pilgar Cardinal Triangular on Tuesday, February 13: Nate Johnson, Sawyer Brudigam, Jackson Pommer, Coltlynn Lortz, Dorothy Sullivan, and Miguel Ibarra. Schools that competed with Wakefield were Pilger-Wisner and Neilgh Oakdale.

We are delighted to announce our Student of the Month for February, an outstanding 11th-grade student whose empathy, artistic talents, positive influence, and infectious smile have left an impression on our school community. It is with great pleasure that we recognize Bianca Castillo for her exceptional qualities and contributions.
Bianca’s actions, both big and small, reflect a compassionate spirit that has created a warm and inclusive atmosphere within our school. In addition to her compassionate nature, she is a talented artist with exceptional creative abilities. Furthermore, Bianca consistently encourages her classmates. Her ability to uplift and motivate others has contributed to a positive and collaborative learning environment. Bianca’s cheerful demeanor has a ripple effect, brightening the days of all who she encounters and creating a sense of joy within our school.

9th and 10th Grade Selection for February’s Student of the Month
Sierra Kaufman, a remarkable 10th-grade student, was selected as our Student of the Month for February. Sierra stands out as a leader in our school community. She is known for her kindness, positive attitude, resilience, and strong work ethic.
One of Sierra's standout qualities is her commitment to helping her classmates succeed. Known for going above and beyond, she consistently goes out of her way to assist peers with their homework, creating a collaborative and supportive academic environment within our school. Additionally, Sierra treats everyone with a level of respect that is truly commendable. She helps to create a welcoming atmosphere within our school community. Sierra is incredibly involved in extracurricular activities and she leads by example. She can be counted on to do the right thing even if it is not easy.
