✨ VIP letters were sent home yesterday. Check your child's folder or bookbag.
📱 The school only needs to know the total number of guests that will be attending for each child. You can call the elementary office at 402-287-9892 or email Mrs. Anderson (landerson@wakefieldschools.org) prior to April 20.
💻 All elementary students will be dismissed at 11:30. Please let your child's teacher know if they are going home with their VIP.
⛔ Please limit the number of participants to 4 guests per student. We ask that children (under 18) be left at home.

Last Thursday and Friday, nine Wakefield SkillsUSA members went down to Grand Island to compete at State Leadership and Skills Championships. The competition gets tougher every year, and our students did great. We even have a National Finalist in our group! Molly Schlickbernd took home a gold medal in the First Aid-CPR contest. We are so proud of our SkillsUSA members and their determination, passion, and commitment to growing their skills inside and outside of the classroom.

On Thursday, April 2nd, the seniors hit the road for an unforgettable school-sponsored field trip. The seniors took off for Thunder Road in Sioux Falls to enjoy a variety of activities. These activities included the 7D movie theater, laser tag, bowling, arcade games, and bumper cars. The day wrapped up with a special stop at Sidelines, where our seniors made their mark—literally—by signing the Wakefield High School graduates’ wall. As the countdown to graduation begins, we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group. The future’s looking bright, Class of 2026- go shine!
