FCCLA members attended the Fall Leadership Conference at Wayne State College. During the conference, members participated in sessions designed to build their FCCLA knowledge, learn more about competitive events, and discover ways to strengthen and improve their chapter. Members also participated in a community service project, putting their leadership skills into action while giving back to the community.

The elementary students had a visit from none other than James Madison at today’s morning meeting! He time traveled all the way from 1787 to teach the students of Wakefield about Constitution Day!

Due to the high chance of severe weather, today’s Junior High and JV football games originally scheduled in Tekamah have been moved to Wakefield.

There will be no concessions available.

The Wakefield Athletic Boosters invite you to celebrate and reminisce on the anniversary of winning the State Football Championship 20 years ago! Please join us for light refreshments in the school cafeteria before the September 18th home football game at 7 pm vs. Lutheran High Northeast. Players will be invited to stand on the track near the end zone during the game and will be recognized at halftime.
