Wakefield Schools will have a 2-hour late start on Friday, January 23rd. No Breakfast will be served. If you need a ride to school, contact the school office, and we will provide transportation. We are proud to recognize senior Ashlyn Riewer for an outstanding academic achievement! Ashlyn was recently awarded a $36,000-per-year scholarship to Midland University after being accepted into the prestigious Howard Hanson Honors Program.

In addition to her academic success, Ashlyn is highly involved at Wakefield, participating in Student Council, FBLA, FCCLA, volleyball, basketball, and NHS. She is a positive leader in our school and a wonderful role model for her peers.

Congratulations, Ashlyn! We are excited to see all the great things you will accomplish at Midland University and beyond.
