Congratulations to Jaden Sievers on earning the Nebraska Eagle Scout Scholarship and the Board of Governors Merit Waiver to Northeast Community College- covering his full tuition for two years! This incredible achievement is a testament to his hard work, leadership, and dedication.

Jaden has been a highly involved member of Wakefield Community Schools, participating in One Act, Boy Scouts, track, football, SkillsUSA, and choir. His strong work ethic and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on those around him.

Jaden plans to attend Northeast Community College this fall to study Mechanized Agriculture. We are proud to call him a Trojan and will greatly miss him at Wakefield Community Schools. Best of luck in all that lies ahead, Jaden!

Last Thursday, the Elementary Student Council did a school service project. They cleaned up the school grounds to get ready for spring.

The Wakefield Boys Basketball team will be hosting an after-school club for both boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 2nd grade who want to learn about the fundamentals of basketball.

There will be NO school for grades 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12th on Tuesday, March 24th, due to Juniors taking the state-wide ACT in the high school.

🚨 ALL elementary students WILL have school that day.

A HUGE thank you to Wakefield Home & Closet and Tienda Mexicana Guerrero for providing donations. Without them, the annual Easter Egg Hunt would not be possible.

Last week, we were able to recognize Felipe for his Positivity Project strength of Humility, while also giving Mrs. Wych some long overdue recognition for her Optimism. This week, we recognized Coy, Rocio, and Cole for showing their Love of Learning strength!
